I had come into Auto Nation Subaru with some hesitancy. Some close friends of mine had skme bad experiences with AutoNation, and I really was going to try and look at other Subaru dealerships. But, Terry showed superior customer service from start. Despite some hiccups with my previous car, he was the only one who told me to still come in and he would appraise my car, even if I wasn't going to use it for a trade in!! Terry was the very first car salesman I have ever dealt with that didn't want to get me in for a fast sale. ACTIVE DUTY MILITARY AVOID!! I was denied the sale of a new vehicle because I would not be registering it in the state of Colorado. The GM, Mike Smith, refused to personally speak with me about this situation, and when prodded about this issue he shrugged his shoulders and said "Ohh well. Too bad." No one should have to be forced to waive their federal rights in order to buy a car from a smug GM. This isn't my first purchase or issue with this dealership. While previously purchasing a vehicle in August 2020 I nearly walked on a deal after listening to how a GM was yelling at the salesperson. Experiences at this dealer have been mixed. I had a service manager tell me "That's why you shouldn't buy a $20K car" when they discovered my cam carrier was leaking on an Impreza at 70K miles and needed to replace every seal in the engine. The salespeople themselves and financing departments are outstanding and willing to work with you. They are knowledgeable and incredibly helpful. I won't be back.

Very good customer service. In my experience, never felt pushed by employees to buy anything. They cover uber transportation if I don't want to wait at their facility. Although they also have free wi-fi in their waiting room for anyone who wants to stay and get work done. Looks like they always have a solid team working together.

Wanted to update the my review after coming here for a year. Ean is extremely helpful. Cars stress me out and I’ve come in heated more then once and he’s been understanding, calm and very level headed. He explains what is most important to complete first when it comes to maintenance and always gives an accurate estimate when the service should be done. Still would recommend getting a second opinion when they suggest things above what is expected upkeep on the car. But I’ve continued to come here because of the service I get from Ean. Thank you!

Does good work but be careful of upselling. Went in for an oil change ($90+) and the mechanic recommended an alignment. When I pointed out that I had a week old set of tires on the car and watched an alignment done at that time it turned out that, "Oh, we just recommend it to everyone with that many miles on their car.

I have to say Chris, Ricardo, and Will where amazing. An oil change and front break check up was fast, as well as detailed. I supposedly had my rear break replaced in April, come to find out the company I went to never did. Chris made sure everything was in place and made sure my cross trek was in great working condition. They even gave me the old break pads to follow up with the other vendor. They made a not so great experience tremendously better.

Alejandra was an exceptional representative and had it not been for my ironclad resolve in wanting an Autumn Green 2022 Forester Wilderness, I would have been bought a car from here and drove off the lot today. She was incredibly knowledgeable on all the features I asked about, suggested options and upgrades for the Wilderness that I actually cared about when going through the build and price process, not only explaining the features but their benefits to my situation and what I want out of a vehicle. My biggest pet peeve when purchasing products is the arrogance and lack of care when dealing with sales representatives that occurs sometimes. This was not the case with Alejandra. She was able to convince me to build and price my vehicle with AutoNation without me feeling like I was being coerced, a rare and highly valued trait when dealing with people in sales. 10/10 outstanding service.

Since I moved to Colorado, I have only purchased cars from a different dealership. My current vehicle was needing to be replaced, so I discussed my concerns with my dad and he directed me to AutoNation Subaru Arapahoe as he has purchased several vehicles from them before. I made an appointment for April 7 at 7:00 a.m., Confirmation #X02520MVMP, to take my Subaru Forester to AutoNation due to a recall. The service technician told me when I arrived that I did not have an appointment, but they would do their best to accommodate me. Two service people told me they would perform multi-point inspections, but I told both of them not to perform the inspection because I had just had an oil change and the tires rotated and the mechanic had performed the same inspection two weeks prior to this appointment and I knew my car did not need any servicing. When I finally got my car four hours later there was a statement on Invoice #556639 that the customer requested a multi-point inspection. Not true. It appears AutoNation wanted to find something they could charge me for since they couldn't charge for the recall. I am glad I own my Forester, but I would never take it to a dealer for servicing as I would always question their integrity. On June 6, 2022 I took my Forester to AutoNation on Arapahoe Road because the sensor they had installed on February 23, 2022 (paid approximately $1,000 for the part and installation) failed and the check engine light again came on again. AutoNation installed two new sensors and did not charge for the new sensors. However, they told me I needed an oil change and new air and cabin filters. I informed Chris Turner I had an oil change and new filters installed less than five months prior to this visit. AutoNation inserts a statement on the invoice that the customer requested to have a multi-point inspection performed. This is an entirely false statement and is AutoNation's attempt to coerce customers into having unnecessary work performed on their car. I did not give AutoNation the authorization to inspect my car. Their "inspection" is a scam on their part and I consider it unethical. This will be my last visit to AutoNation on Arapahoe Road unless there is a recall and I am forced to take my car to a dealership.

I believe it was Andrea who assisted me with the actual purchase of the car as Austin wasn't onsite the day I went by. She was also amazing! Bob with finance...he's amazing too! My only disheartening mention is the issue I'm having with the passenger door of the vehicle. It seems the door opens intermittently when the doors are unlocked with the key fob. The door doesn't open at all when unlocked with the thumb pad. I can't fault the dealership for this as it may not have been a known issue at the time.

This location used to not be terrible to get an oil change. My last oil change, they wandered into the waiting area holding my air filters and trying to upsell me on like $1,000 of other services when my car only had 35k miles. In their effort to upsell, they forgot to clean out the pan the oil filter sits in so that was full of old oil. Their previous online service scheduler was all but useful. Couldn't pick the services you wanted in any easy way shape or form so usually had to try their online chat who would give me a number to call 50% of the time. They never communicate with you while you are in the waiting area. A 1 hour oil change turns into a 3 hour wait because they decided to do a recall repair while they were at it. But they won't bother to inform you of that so you just sit there wasting away. After 6 services here, they changed their online platform yet again so now it can't even find my phone number or vehicle in their system. Their online chat couldn't find an agent for me so it is time I moved on.

Bobby Clamage is the man to see for an effortless and fun buying experience. It's 2020 but as a woman solo, you still get the whole gamut of typical salesmen and it can be hard to focus on choosing the right vehicle when you're being mansplained and talked over from every angle. Bobby was the exact opposite; a warm and welcoming persona, with down to earth knowledge and expertise in the brand. I asked questions I hadn't at other dealerships because I felt comfortable I was getting real answers. From the sales floor to finance, I felt cared for as a customer and as a future Subaru owner. Coming from Hyundai, I was pleasantly surprised to find so many people who work for Subaru entirely believe in the brand and aren't just selling you a product, they're genuinely excited about it. I was happy to have done business with a team that made me feel good not only about my purchase, but about who I was giving my business to. Thanks Bobby, Matt and Bob! Edit: The service department isn't great to work with and soured my experience with the dealership. The sale is over quickly but the service is what you depend on, and my great warranty isn't much help if I can't get the work done.

I have called multiple places to fix my car, no one but Subaru seams to be able to change rear Automatic Breaks to me this is very inconvenient due to the high pricing. Once I got there they were trying to charge me a lot more for additional service required for them to change my breaks. William and Kyle were amazing and I could tell they weren’t there just trying to make another Buck. I really appreciate the service and I will definitely be returning back to this location in the future. I just feel like SUBARU should at least be able to provided other resources to the customer if they are not able to afford the maintenance costs especially when ONLY the manufacturer can service that specific Part of the vehicle. Overall a better experience than I expected to have.

I came in to buy a previously owned car last month. And though I love my new car, the communication completely broke down after I brought the car home. My salesman, Michael, went from returning my texts once every 4 to 5 days to just not at all. Then I left a voice mail for one of the finance managers in regards to the warranty I purchased, and I never received any communication back. It seems as though all enthusiasm for your customers goes to the wayside once the deal has been made.

I recently purchased an Outback at AutoNation Subaru. I went in prepared and had done my research on vehicle pricing and financing. At first, I felt like I got less for my trade in. In my case, once the deal was done and all the details I felt like I got a fair deal. I was treated with respect and never felt like I was being taken advantage of. My advice is to go into the auto buying process prepared know the process and advocate for yourself and you can get a fair deal with AutoNation Subaru. I appreciated working with the staff there. As a consumer and generally speaking, the more you know and prepared for a big purchase the better off you will be.

They kept me waiting, and nobody seemed to pay attention to me. I can't understand their behavior. This is my worst experience. They make me late for work. I will never come to this dealership again.

I was told it would take 1 hour for my oil change and it ended up taking 2 hours. I was never updated about the delay or why. In addition to waiting an extra hour, my windshield wiper fluid wasn’t refilled. This was my first experience with Auto Nation service department on my new Subaru. Definitely not impressed.

The only thing that I asked of the Fleet department in acquiring my new vehicle was that I prepay to have installed a 2-bike rack (non-Thule) and when we picked up, instead I had a 1-bike Thule Rack. The rep was basically like, sorry, can't help you. I got charged the same obviously for half of what I ordered. No advance communication. The rep acknowledged the error was on the part of the team there, but offered nothing to compensate. Even told me to order my own second rack off Amazon, rather than attempt a solution that I was absolutely willing to pay for.

Went in to sell our car. Salesman tried telling us that he was afraid to drive it and that it was going to start on fire if we drove it off the lot. We’ve been servicing and driving it for years and it’s in great condition. We took it to a shop afterwards to check what they told us was wrong and they were completely wrong, telling us all of these issues this dealership said we’re not correct. Bad sales techniques and very shady. Do not go here.

When I dropped off my car, the rep received my vehicle and ran some basic checks including checking my tires, he informed me that my tires were good, I asked him what the reading was, he remeasured one of the tires but didn't know how to read his tool so he brought it over to me to show me that my tires are at 6/32". That left me with a bit of a bad gut feel. I dropped my car off for the scheduled oil change (didn't request any other services), but the team decided to do a multi-point inspection and I was informed that my vehicle needed an alignment as well as the cabin air filter changed. The car has 18,000 miles on it, it isn't pulling at all and drives perfectly straight, when I talked to my service advisor they said its because that's what's recommended by Subaru, the same was said for my cabin air filter. They also mentioned that the TPMS system had an issue. At this point it seemed like I was just being sold services that I never asked for just because I had my car in. This was quite a different experience from my first 2 oil changes that went very smoothly. I asked them to please do nothing to the car other than the requested oil change. When I picked up my vehicle there was indeed an issue with TPMS, the light was going off. As I was driving I noticed the car seemed to have a pretty bouncy ride and checked the in dash tire pressure readout and my tires had been inflated to 51 psi and that was why the TPMS was going off. When I got home, I double checked tire pressure with my gauge and confirmed the tires were over-inflated. I took out the excess air in the tires and took the car for a quick drive and everything cleared up. This experience did not leave me wanting to ever go back to this dealership, if something so simple as an oil change can add this many problems to my vehicle what would happen with a more major service? Its a good thing that I'm at least competent around vehicles any other customer would have had a bunch of unnecessary charges on their hands. The staff was polite but seemed to be very inexperienced and untrained to do their jobs. Update 5/13/22: I've been trying to get a hold of the general manager as requested. Have place 3 phone calls with no luck (left a message on the last one). I've been engaged with the general manager over emails to setup a time to talk and we have failed there as well. While it's great to publicly respond that you want to address the situation it would be good to show that effort and make it happen. Knocking down my review by 1 star due to challenges with getting a hold of management. It further confirms my opinion that this dealership doesn't care.

Wanted to purchase a car that sat lower than my 2017 Toyota 4Runner so my kiddos could easily climb in. Naturally, a Subaru Outback was the choice. During their complimentary inspection they tried to upsell me two rear taillights, plus all the labor involved. I declined, picked up my car when my service was done, and noticed the headlights were off. The headlights were off, the lights weren’t burnt out. Real grade A technicians they got there 👍🏼

To tell youvtge truth it was not a pleasant ecperience. Firstly I am extremely unhappy anout this situation I have a 2016 Crosstreck that i only owe 1900$ on and was looking forward to not having a car payment. The check engine light had come on a few weeks ago and so i scheduled a maintenance appointment. Between the time I scheduled and the actual appointment tha car started making a clacking noise. So i stopoed driving it. When I did get it in for service I find out that there Is a rid bearing failure which according to your service techs its only going to be 14000 to fix and thats worst case whats the best case it still may need some engine work and that is only 13000. This is in my book still a new car its a a 2016 with only 85000 miles on it. It SHOULD NOT have this problem, and its completely not worthvit for me to have it fixed for that cost. So I start researching and find out that subarus from 2013 to 2017 have an engine problem with oil consumption and it has been causing catastrophic engine failure way sooner than expected. So I call Subaru of America and tgey look into it for me and tell me that they found that I wasnt serviced quire as often as it should be and that tgey would graciously give me 1350 towards the purchase of a vehicle. So at this point my confidence in Subaru is basically shattered. So i still do some looking and for my needs it really is the best option plus with the engine issue I figure that Subaru will also give me the best value for my vehicle. Now bear in mind I was not expecting to be in the market for a new vehicle or a different vehicle forcat least another 20 or so years and COVID has my life completely ipside down my wife has had it 3 times and still isnt back to work full time. So to say the least I’m not really in the position to purchase a vehicle period, again I would not even he in the market if it wasn’t for this engine issue that I am certain is a manufacturer issue. I have only ever had the vehicle serviced there and have never had any warning lights come on with exception of the check engine light when it did come on. So I look into newer used vehicles and find a few viable options and start talking via email to Jeff he offers a trade value of 8000 which is not bad but not the total worth if the vehicle if it did not have its present issue. So i figure lets give it a shot see what can be done and I maje an appointment with Jeff. So I get there and Im approached by Mr. Stein and am told that Jeff explained to him my situation and that he would help me until Jeff was available. Tgen he cones back with Jeff and Jeff states that he is basically busy and Mr. Stein will be helping me thus of course makes some red flags go up in my mind. Well any way I fidure between the trade value and the offer from Subaru of America I should have som decent amount if room to play with only to find out that the really slap in the face amount Subaru of America sent me was only for the purchase of a new vehicle which come on doesn’t even buy me the steering wheel of said vehicle. So long story short I get a big FU from you all and Subaru. There us nothing anyone can say to me that is going to convince me that the issue with my car is NOT a manufacturer issue that Subaru themselves should make right however they seem to have no intention if doing so. This dealership is not truthful with their diagnostics and I will not be taking my business here again. My AC stopped working in my Subaru crosstrek and I was quoted $1200 over the phone for a new compressor if that was the issue. I bring my car in and get quoted $2000 for the compressor. I decided because of the difference in price (which they would not clearly explain to me when I asked why the increase) that I would take my car elsewhere. I take my car to another maintenance shop and find out that my compressor is FINE and that I actually have a valve leak. Just like that my AC is repaired and working great. I go back and ask for a refund for my diagnostic fee and was flat out refused because they have “done work”. Your job was to figure out the problem in my car and you did not do that. Bottom line - It is NOT okay to flat out lie and take advantage of people.

It was a easy process. I worked with Todd whom I would recommend. Remember it always takes longer than you think but when you put it into perspective it is much shorter than buying a house. The sales person and sales team were friendly and things went smoothly although the signing of the paperwork felt a little rushed. Due to supply and transportation issues as well as an earthquake in Japan (which caused the plant to be shut down for two weeks) we waited a month longer than expected for our vehicle but we were kept informed. There was some confusion on our part about “Gap insurance” and we were assured it was included in the lease. We did have to go back to the dealership to resign some papers for which we were compensated. All in all it was a good experience.

I've always had great service for a dealership service shop here. But it's still a dealership service shop. Therefore, you will get nickel-and-dimed for everything. So I just do my basic bi-yearly maintenance here, which works fantastic! Especially since I've prepaid for oil and tire service for the first 4-5 years of owning my new car. So everything falls under the protection plan.

I originally came into the dealer just to do a test drive, as I was still researching which make/models I was wanting to purchase. I went in on a Saturday and it was busy, but I received help super quickly and had a test drive. During the drive, there was none of the weird "do you wanna buy?" pressure, as it was understood that I wasn't wanting to purchase that day. It went well, and I was able to step out without any pressure. I kept thinking about the car and ended up coming back and buying it. The entire process was smooth and the employees were kind. I’ll admit, waiting two months for my CrossTrek was the longest two months ever, BUT it was worth the wait and Lucas was 100% transparent about the timing from the day I ordered the car. It’s a new world and I don’t think there is a place for a dealership anymore. I was unable to get anything from them that I had hoped for. Knowledgeable sales associate (I learned more from reading on line than he knew), colorful brochures (they had none and asked me to read on line), cars to look at (they had only one, so was unable to see the different options), test drives (only one car on lot), paint samples (look on line), discounts (prices are set, dealer only marks up). I think they would do better to close the dealership and build a virtual reality headset with all that you need. I’m still waiting for the car I ordered, looks like it will take 6 months. I understand supply chain issues. Would benefit from better communication. Like the dominos pizza app where it tells you the stage for your pizza and has an accurate ETA.

Before I took the car home they ordered me new hub caps and one less than a week after having the car one of the caps falls off and when I try to get a hold of the sales rep who told me to reach out to him if there are any issues ignores me. This is my go to Subaru dealership every time I have questions or concerns about my vehicle! I purchased through auto nation and i'll continue to get my car serviced here because of the friendly, helpful and understanding staff. My most recent visit was because of a check engine light (which turned off RIGHT before I pulled into the garage) but they went over everything anyway and found a hairline fracture in my O2 sensor line. I appreciate that they took the time to check everything out even if my check engine light went off prior to my appt. 10/10 recommended this dealer!

Here’s why: I purchased a premium model from them back in 2018. Paid cash. Did not “negotiate” all the minor bs. Even paid extra for servicing. Have been incredibly happy with AN Subaru since. Until today. Having received a text message coupon for service and parts, I took my vehicle in for service. It was an 8 hr long process. It started with me first in line first thing in the AM and when the rush started, the coupon was last on my mind: The vehicle was completed when said, but my phone was dead and could not pull up the coupon. When home and phone was charged and was reminded of said coupon, i called and was told the rep that handled my car was done for the day and gone home. The next morning I called and was given to a service manager who basically said “too bad, so sad.” My coupon didn’t mean a thing. You would think that IF they text a coupon they might remind you by asking if you had a savings coupon or directly telling you. NO. What is their point? Why would they use such a ploy? And not honor? New Purchase was ok, could of been better but with limited stock and wanting a vehicle just had to take what they had. Recently sold the vehicle back and was Ok... Took a long time to get the offer it felt like a hour and left with a check but no paperwork. They had no idea how to cancel warranties, called multiple times to get transferred around and around with no call back.. Bob Baker a manager there finally helped me weeks later, Thank you... Auto Nation corporate was who finally helped me but its not a fast process, but at least they could back date to the deal date. Service was Ok, warranty parts came in and nobody called to notify me to schedule with service. Once I called to follow up they said they only hold parts 30 days luckily they still had it. Not sure why I had to tell service what I needed replaced when they had the part but they in the end got it replaced successfully.

Look no further! I just had the best experience as a customer at AutoNAtion Subaru on Arapahoe Road. Let me start with my amazing sales rep, Mike Masi. He bent over backwards to meet my every need. I have a severe health problem that can be life threatening. I am extremely allergic to scented products. He showed me a beautiful 2019 Subaru but unfortunately it had a very strong scented vent clip on air freshener in it from the previous owner. I told him I wanted to test it out and buy the car if he thought he could get the smell out. He worked with his team to do everything humanly possible to get it cleaned out using only specialized cleaners. He got his manager, Mike, involved and he was equally amazing. He basically said that he would keep trying different cleaning techniques and if that didn’t work, he would create a backup plan for me and explore other options. This is all during the biggest car shortage I have ever experienced. They could have just told me to step aside because they had buyers lined up that wanted the Suburu, but instead, they were empathetic and determined to solve my issue. They were extremely responsive and available by phone and text anytime. To add to that, the car was in mint condition, but the price was slightly below blue book and they worked with me to get the lowest interest rate possible. This is how car buying should be!

Long story short, after asking where I got it Arapahoe Subaru said they couldn’t make it work (surprise) and charged me $200 for one of theirs. When I got it back it was identical, word for word on the back of the fob (country of origin, mfg, etc.). I feel if I told them it was the original fob I got weigh the car that they would have been able to make it program. I think they took advantage of me. I’ve been getting my car serviced here for years but this experience left a bad taste in my mouth. Don’t think I’ll be back.

Overall my experiences with Autonation Subaru's service department have been really good. I think they are professional, honest, and quick to resolve things. Even the more difficult fixes, where I've had to bring the car back in a few times, were handled well and thoroughly. The only bad experience I've had is Subaru's dash lights come on when the fuel cap isn't secured tightly. I didn't know that, and brought it in because I was concerned the computer wasn't functioning properly. They tightened the gas cap - that is all they did - and they charged me a $100 dollar diagnostic fee for having done so. This could have been as simple as them asking me if the gas cap was tight, and teaching me about it, but instead they were greedy and in my mind, charged me for something unnecessarly (I bought two cars from them new). Even though they took advantage of me, I still use them, because the good has outweighed the bad. But I can't give them 5 stars because it was poor customer service to charge $100 for tightening a gas cap.

Bumpy from day 1 to month 6. They have the amazing ability to screw you over financially and make you keep coming back to the dealership to correct the errors they made (paperwork, car service, etc), all while smiling and trying to convince you they are doing you a favor. They increased my payment AFTER I signed the contract by forcing me to either add an extended warranty or return the vehicle, they forgot to close out my credit inquiry request so I kept getting hits for 2 weeks after the purchase, and they stopped responding to me when I reached out about issues with the vehicle within the first month of ownership. When I showed up in-person to have them fix the issues with the truck that were not disclosed or just not properly inspected prior to sale, they said the warranty they forced me to purchase did not cover any of the issues. Worth it to pay a higher no-haggle price and get good customer service at one of the other national dealerships.

So far AutoNation Subaru Arapahoe has taken really good care of me. Buying a new car can be so stressful but they were really patient and talked me through everything. My new car didn't have the spare tire tools when I bought it but my family went back and talked to the manager and he took care of it for us which I really appreciate because I want to make sure I'm safe on the road. Lastly, I recently went in for an oil change (which I prepaid for when I bought my car) and they were excellent. The service team was very helpful, communicated well, and worked quickly even on a busy day.

Bought my Subaru here a year or two ago. Brakes have been acting weird so I took it in and received a quote for a part from a small shop my family has been taking cars to for years. I had the part under warranty with Subaru. Brought my car to the dealership and AutoNation Subaru refused to even look at the part, and then quoted me an insane price for a DIFFERENT part of my car that DID NOT need replacing... This was one of the worst and most fraudulent experiences I have experienced. I purchased a brand new car. I noticed it had damage to it. When I brought it up to Matt the sales manager he showed me the receiving paperwork that had notes about issues. Another employee stated they saw the issues but did not think it was a big deal. They took the car to "their" body shop, and the minor roof dents had actually been more serious. A corssmember in the top of the roof had been disconnected completely and the entire roof needed to be replaced. Side note, the car was taken to a body shop north of the city, not their actual body shop. Another manager Michael called me and could not have been more rude. I told them I was coming by the next day to return the loaner and I wanted a full refund. Apparently, without my knowledge, they had processed a refund the day before. I was never told anything of the sort. This place is shady and I would avoid at all costs. I plan to be filing a complaint with the state.

Overall, I had a good buying experience at the dealership - sales and finance staff were super helpful and pleasant to deal with. I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 because I took my new-to-me used car for an independent inspection the day after I bought it and found that the wheel bearings were bad and there was a oil pressure leak. I called the dealership and they arranged for me to bring it back in for a fix and gave me a loaner for the day it was in the shop, all at no cost. The issue got resolved promptly, but it was annoying to have it. That being said, I would still recommend AutoNation Subaru Arapahoe, with the caveat of being sure to get an independent inspection before your 5-day-return grace period is up to ensure all is in good working order.

Had a 60K service on Outback. Needed alignment. After waiting there for 6.5 hours, I was told all is good and I was ready to go. The alignment was not taken care of. Instead of pulling to the left, it pulled to the right. Also, on inspection report it states battery terminals were checked and satisfactory. Two days after spending over $2K, the battery was dead, and the terminals were completely deteriorated. Not sure how that can happen in two days. A third issue is the service sheet states windshield fluid was checked and satisfactory. In actuality, it was dry when I tried to clean window on same day. After letting the tech know of these issues, she tried to have me schedule a time to come in to rectify. No trust to take to them to fix, when the basics like this were skipped and labeled done. I don’t believe they did what they were paid to do, and simply skimmed on service while charging heavy. All-in-all, the absolute worst Subaru maintenance experience I’ve had. I will not be going back, and would recommend to them that maybe instead of trying to schedule too many service appointments, they scale back and actually focus on doing what is right by their customers. Would not recommend. Highly disappointed and will take business elsewhere.

I love this Subaru dealership. I handed in my Impreza and bought a Forester, and I was so impressed with how nice and helpful sales, finance and service was. This isn’t my first time buying a Subaru and I can honestly say this was the best experience I’ve ever had. Especially as a woman at a car dealership - they treated me with respect and listened to everything I said. Terry and Bob helped me and they absolutely rocked (Terry was in sales and Bob was in finance). The service manager even gave me recommendations on who to ask for in service at other dealerships since this one is unfortunately a bit far from my house. So impressed with everything!! Unfortunately this dealership really dropped the ball when it came to closing a deal. I bought a used car from them and they forgot to have me sign a bill of sale even after having like 2 or 3 people looking over the paperwork. It was pretty unprofessional and I am more upset at them waiting a month to say anything and I had to get an extension on my temporary plates which in turn made me have to pay a late fee for registration. Do not buy a car here. I bought a car only to get a call 10 days later telling me they messed up financing and I needed to come in to sign some papers. When I get there I was informed that loan would be through a different lender and now monthly payments are a lot higher than agreed upon and have an extra 12 months of payments. To add insult to injury they offered to fill my gas tank to make up from their mistake. A whole tank of gas for a mistake that now cost me thousands. Go anywhere else but here

The sales person was excellent! He had to provide a missing access handle for the rear seating at his own expense! The 50 point inspection is a joke. They checked off Steering operation and that the Navigation system was ok. I took the vehicle in for service of the transmission fluid and they found the steering was in a dangerous situation, the Idler, pittman arm and lower ball joint were shot. It could have come apart on me. Very dangerous. I bought it as is, they dont care it was dangerous. The Nav system is missing the DVD so the Nav system doesnt work but it was checked off as working! Liars and they dont stand by their 50 pt inspection! Also, here are few interesting comments from the main GM unhinged Me, Actually when I checked the 50pt check(pic attached) it shows they tested the Navigation, number 48 and it was working. Either the Nav DVD was lost or they didnt really check the functionality. Can we put this on the list for Thursday as well? AN GM, No Craig we cannot!! You lied on your review with Google, I did call you back and called two other places trying to locate a NAV disk for you. You also assumed someone stole the disk that was in the car before you purchased it, which you have NO idea what you’re talking about. You have two choices, Bring my car back for the check engine light repair, or just return the car today please. So I’m clear, if you chose to keep the car, we will address the Check engine light only, Also, you are NOT allowed in the service center for any reason. You are to bring the car to our store today.

Blowing out a tire is never a good thing -- but when I showed up with a totally destroyed tire and needing a new one they treated me fairly, quickly and honestly. With very few miles on my Forrester, even though it is a 4-wheel drive vehicle, I only had to replace the damaged tire. They checked the others, verified correct tire pressure to include the spare toy tire and all was good. They quickly had me on my way and hopefully I will not have to do that again

Autonation Subaru wanted $1000!!! for a Starlink upgrade. The upgrade is supposed to be free (I still have the email). I spent a lot of time on the phone: Subaru pointed the finger at Starlink, and Starlink pointed the finger right back at Subaru. No valid excuse for finger pointing. So I complained online to Subaru customer support on 2/25. No response as of 3/2 early am. The car had been in for service earlier in the upgrade period, why didn't Autonation Subaru just upgrade then?

I’ve been going to Arapahoe Subaru for many years now with spotty customer service experiences in the service department to say the least. My visit yesterday was a very positive one. I spoke with a service advisor, Ean, the day prior about some work I needed to have done and was able to get in first thing the next morning where I was greeted by Ean, walked through my request and concerns, and then updated on how things were going while I waited. I was advised of an additional issue with my rear brakes upon inspection, but was not upsold on anything. At the end, Ean described in great detail how everything stood and I even got out an hour or so earlier than initially planned. Ean was very knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful! I purchased a used car here that I found online. During the negotiations, the sales guy promised some painting work would be completed. Some of the work was done after the sale, but not all we discussed and now the sales guy is acting like these promises weren’t made. Promises were made verbally and in writing that weren’t kept, but conveniently the paperwork disappeared and I didn’t get a copy. If dealing with this dealership go to business basics 101-get everything in writing and be sure you’re given a copy. Typical interaction… says what they need to get the sale. Then half-a$$ follow thru. Giving 3 out of 5 because I do like the car, but disappointed some work was not completed as discussed/agreed.

August 18th, I financed a 2008 Hyundai Veracruz on behalf of my son who just got home from the Army. They touted the inspection process, which appeared on the surface to be fairly robust at "50 points." 24 days later, on 9/11, my son calls me that he's broken down. The car overheated and he was able to hobble it off the highway. We had it towed to our mechanic who determined the head gasket was blown and it would more likely need a new motor, as the process to replace the gasket is pretty tough on this motor - not to mention the expense and labor. Motor is best option, but he also couldn't find any motors in his search. Don't even have the title yet. I asked our mechanic if this is something that would have been noted in inspection, as the dealership touted their process. He assured us yes, there's no way to miss this as this has been going on for awhile, based on how "gunked up" it was inside. My son called the dealership (twice) and once he was able to get the manager, he was met with no semblance of remorse, in fact the manager was quite defensive that they put $3.3K into repairs on this POS a d they normally only do about $1.2K. We asked for a copy of the report and sure enough it was noted that the car had both oil & coolant issues. Looks like they fixed just enough to slap it out for an unsuspecting service member to drive for 3 short weeks. I would NEVER recommend this place.

Car was fixed ok, but a problem with my windows. I had stated to the Service Rep. that please leave the windows UP as the had been tinted and it could hurt them. The Service Rep. stated ok and made a note of this issue. Also I had a big note on the driver seat stating the same concerns. When I picked up the car a couple of days later; all the front windows had been lowered down. I talked to the Service Mgr. about this and stated what had happened and what should have been done. He took some photos and my contact info. about some possible damage to my front window tinting. He stated that someone will following up the next day; it has been almost a week now and NO contact back for from AutoNation Subaru Arapahoe. Very sad follow up and customer service from this dealership. On a go forward I will be going some place else to service this car that I had previously bought at this location.

My wife and I traveled to Colorado from Pa. we drive a 2020 Subaru still under warranty. We had a maintenance issue that caused our battery to die. Subaru Roadside was contacted but it took them a very long time to respond. The vehicle was finally towed to AutoNation for service at least 1 hour from where we broke down. When the car was finished AutoNation contacted us. We had no way of getting to the dealership and asked if they could bring the car to us and we would reimburse the company. The service advisor refused the request and told us they travel no more than 10 miles radius. We asked to speak to a manager and she refused that request. We ended up calling Faulkner Subaru our home dealership. As a result they took care of everything for us. As a result anyone from out of state that needs quality and helpful service DO NOT USE AUTONATION

I heard that AutoNation Subaru Arapahoe had a used car that I had been looking for – a black 2019 Charger R/T. I called to see if it was still available; it was. When I arrived, the sales rep., Syed Javaid, had the car ready for me to inspect. After the test drive, I decided to move ahead with the purchase. Syed was great to work with, as was the sales manager and the financial officer – they were personable, efficient and aimed to please. Syed even delivered the car to my house that afternoon, arranged to have a spare key fob made and gave me the information I needed to download the manual. I had the chance to talk to a couple of employees in the process. They were also upbeat and friendly. This was my first transaction with this dealership. I am assuming they will work with me in the future with respect to any issues that may emerge, in which case I would be glad to do business with them again.

Recently had some substantial work done regarding a recall on my BRZ that required the engine to be removed. Austin Forde was my service contact and his support and communication were top notch. It was reassuring talking to a fellow car enthusiast. His efforts were very much appreciated and has actually restored my faith that some dealerships can be trusted. I didn't get to meet the mechanic, but it appears that his/her work was solid. Unfortunately they had no loaner vehicles but I was provided a rental from Enterprise nearby. My 2011 outback was in for service every 2 weeks for 10 weeks and would develop another problem within 2 weeks of being repaired. The last time I took it in it had to be towed and couldn't even be put in neutral to be loaded onto the truck, the driver towed it on and bounced it off. After that repair I drove it to Phoenix where the problems started all over again. A local garage there determined it was the transmission valve body and replaced it. In doing my research 2011 subaru's are known for transmission problems around 100,000 miles. Why didn't the Autonation service department pick up on this? I had been the sole owner of this car and had taken it there for all of my servicing except for oil changes. I recently bought another subaru because I like the car but I will not take it to that dealer for servicing. I think they are too big with inexperienced mechanics. I expressed my complaints in a letter to the manager and he discussed them with me then tossed my letter in his wastebasket while I sat there. Obviously I still have the letter on my computer. The other issue with this service department is that you have to wait when you drop your car off for the person you made your appointment with even if they are busy and three other employees are standing around talking.

Salesmen were very helpful, even when I showed up asking about a vehicle they didn't know was in their inventory. It was new to their stock, and hadn't even been inspected or anything. Once they checked their computer, they showed me the vehicle, even though it hadn't been detailed or inspected, or emission tested. They even allowed me a short test drive. In my opinion, they went a bit above the usual, and in the end, I got a great vehicle, at a good price, with good financing. Talk to these guys. They can even transfer cars from other AutoNation stores, if needed.

I brought my car in for an oil change and an overall wellness check. My check-in experience was good and the lobby staff was friendly. When my service tech came back with some repairs I wasn’t expecting, I tried to explain the history of my car in order to give the full scope and figure out what to do next. Not only did he say the battery corrosion was bad, even though it was minimal when we looked. He did not care about anything I had to say, kept cutting me off, and was not helpful in any way. Because of his exaggeration of the battery corrosion, it makes me doubt the severity of the rest of his claims. It really felt like he was trying to take advantage of me because I’m a young woman who isn’t a a total car buff. I don’t know if this is standard, but my repairs were even written in plain language “engine fluid dirty”. So i’m expected to go to another dealer and say that and expect them to also not take advantage of me? Ridiculous. Will not be bringing my car back here again.

I went in for an oil change, I thought the oil change was free, since we were given 6 free oil change when we bought the car. I only have about 3 or 4 oil changed so far and I have to remind the customer service rep last time too that the change is free. I payed for it this time. I told the gentleman that we also hear a funny noise when we turn the steering wheel left. They told me they checked it out. We still hear the noise which I do not think is ok, especially with a newer car which have not much mileage on it. Next time I might just go in to my regular mechanic. I waited 2 and a half hour to get an oil change and check something out, and I have an appointment. I do not understand why I am waiting 2 to 3 hours with appointment for a basic oil change. You guys need to do better than that. The people who should wait the one without appointment.

This place can't seem to get anything right on the service side of the house. Both my girlfriend and I purchased our cars from here and anytime we've brought our cars back for service we encounter some kind of issue. Most recently I brought my car in for a recall and also asked if they could patch two punctures in the same tire. When my car was ready, I saw someone pull it around and then it just sat there for nearly an hour before someone came to get me, it was even moved out of the way twice so other newly serviced cars could be picked up first. On top of that, when I got home I discovered that only one of the two punctures in the tire had been patched, and the other nail was still clearly visible in the tire. This is just the tip of the iceberg, but their ability to botch even the simplest of repairs is representative of their complete inability to handle more complex automotive service and customer service issues. Never going back.

This is response to a previous review I left for this dealer regarding the purchase of a 2020 Miata that I purchased believing it had navigation. After finally having a meeting with the GM we came to an agreement that each would cover 1/2 the cost of the card so that I had a functioning gps navigation system. I felt the GM was meeting me 1/2 way to resolve the situation. Had the salesman stepped up from the start and taken some responsibility as well as trying harder to meet the needs of his customer this could have been resolved in a lot less time.

I came for my 4pm appointment on a Saturday and was told when I arrived that they were very busy and would try to get my vehicle out by 5pm. Apparently they overbooked this day. I did bot request any particular day and would have been fine if they would have scheduled me out. In any event I was fine waiting and waited inside with my son. After an hour I was told that the vehicle was almost done and that the total would be $93. I was fine with that even though that’s by far the most expensive oil and filter change I’ve ever had. Then when he went to his computer he said, “you know what, it’s actually no charge because of your Toyota Care”. I said that was great and was obviously very excited to hear that. At 5:30, the guy came and said my vehicle was finished. Then he told me that there was one screw that the service tech couldn’t get back in because it was stripped. He said they had to remove a skid plate to get to the oil pan and that the screws where not Toyota screws so they couldn’t replace it. He said I’d have to buy a new screw at an auto parts store. Ok. Then I ask him how many more free oil changes I get and he asks to see my paperwork again, then he says “you know what, you don’t actually have Toyota Care so it will actually be $93”. Obviously this was very irritating as I’m paying a premium for an oil change and they stripped a screw, probably because they were rushing at the end of the day and then he tells me he mixed me up with another customer. I paid the $93 and am not planning to come back. When I got home I tried to find the missing screw and have no idea where that came from so now I have to take it somewheref else. Extremely disappointed.

My son's Impreza only 2 years old, at 11k miles. my 18 year old brought the car in for oil change and has been told the real break needs attention because at 3. with doubt, I made appointment for replace the break pads, which will cost us $387. My 18 year old and me brought the car in again a week later, I was question the guy take our car in: why the real break pads get bad so quick??? I explained: It's because of eyesign, WOW, at 11K miles, you need to replace the REAL break pads already?!!! Later that afternoon, I got a call from the dealership, told me the breaks pads are okay, still at 7,and everything is all good. what?! how can that happened?! one week ago was at 3 with other service suggested, like brake fluid flash, air filter replacement and cabin filter to be replace... HOW CAN THAT HAPPENED???? Also, I wanted to mention one more thing, on the first service ever, My 18 year old was 16 at that time, brought the car in for oil change, they rotate the tires and charge me( without notify me), and I don't think we will need to rotate the tire when the brand new car under 3k miles. I have the feeling, every time My young driver brought the car in, they are very not honest.

It's been 5 days since I had my oil changed at Autonation Subaru. I've been driving my vehicle and noticed this weird burnt smell. I didn't feel comfortable driving it this morning so I switched vehicles with my husband. He got home and popped the hood to give the car a full inspection because since we just had service on it we were really concerned. He checked the oil and guess what he found an empty, bone dry engine. He looked under the car and removed the service panel and the drain plug fell out. Everything under my car is covered in oil. Since I picked the car back up from getting this crappy oil change I've put 396 miles on my car. It's not like I park it and leave it. I use this vehicle to get myself and kids from home to work and school and than home. To think that the engine could have seized on us at anytime in the last 5 days is a scary thought. Now I'm down a vehicle because I can guarantee you that I am not touching that vehicle and messing it up any more than it probably already has been, who know the damage that it's done to it. At this point I'm assuming but I know that I live on a dirt road and my car can be dirty underneath but if that's why I was given just poor service that's absolutely unacceptable. Again this is my car and I took it to this facility thinking I would get good service but clearly that's the opposite.

Went to dealer for tire with leak. Determined it required replacement, was ok on determination. Tire was in stock, price seemed high so went on line, found same tire, same part number for $50 less. Parts directed would not match, said retailer with same tire has a different rubber compound therefore he would not match price. Funny how a manufacture sells tires with same part number but with different compounds, I guess that’s the case when it’s 50 less. My bet is written policy on price match doesn’t state this subjectivity. I’ll remember this when I go to buy my fourth Subaru............

Had to have two trips to have my Starlink upgrade .one was overnight thanks to Mr. Taylor Cox I was able to get back-and-forth to the dealer from my home. Mr. Kay Lee talks Mr. Taylor talks was very helpful in keeping me informed as to what the problems were and what could be done about it and eventually was able to solve the problem and get me back-and-forth to the dealer.at my age I don't recommend anything to anybody anymore I found over the years it doesn't seem to work out.

Had my 2013 Ford Explorer sport in for oil change and tire rotation as I have had done there before. When I went to go home car almost died numerous times at stop lights returned to auto nation subaru and they checked the codes and said they couldn't fix the problem so they sent me to a ford dealer and their checking to see if they happened to knock something loose in the engine during the oil change. As a side note, we experienced a small crack in our windshield the next day driving north. I called AutoNation, who recommended Premium Auto Glass. All very well handled! Thank you!

First "Facilities", the easy one. They need a car wash station. "Customer Service" is a little more involved. They're a little more expensive ($120 for an oil change and tire rotation) than I would expect. This time I was also requested to bring the car back to have the air conditioning condenser replaced (the part in the engine compartment) and a "Starlink" update, both under warranty. I was originally scheduled from 9 AM to noon. When I dropped the car off at 7 AM I was told the Starlink update could be a problem and that might take all day. Called at 2 PM and was told the car was still being worked on. Got a note to pick it up about 4. The air-conditioner work was done and the the Starlink update came with a note. "Customer not subscribed to Starlink, update not needed." So why was I told it was required and why did the air-conditioning only condenser replacement take all day instead of a couple of hours? The rep passed it off as the air-conditioner being a lot of work. I can't believe it took the whole day when Subaru in their warranty letter said 2 hours for the AC!

I worked with Lucas. He was fantastic at every step along the way. Initially, we communicated mostly by email; he was responsive and professional. When it came for me to complete my purchase at the lot, I was warmly greeted me at the door. Lucas and everyone else I worked with was great. It was brought in for a airbag recall. I asked for an oil change of synthetic as well they did conventional which was cheaper. I didn?t ask for conventional I wanted synthetic. I asked them to look at a radiator leak. They found it said it?d cost $500 when it was done it was $800. When I give quotes in my job(HVAC) and that?s what it costs if I go over in time I lose money I can?t charge more. I paid and left because I have no intention of going back to this location for repairs or purchases due to the bad customer service and blatant lies over prices.

We have had horrible service with Heuberger in Colorado Springs, so we drive to AutoNation on Arapahoe for any service work. So far, we haven't had a complaint. At first, I didn't think I would be able to get in on short notice, because the online form said there were no appointments on Saturday. But I called and they were able to fit me in.

Took my 2020 Legacy in for an oil change. 3 hours later found out my vehicle was not even entered in system. Once enter into the system it took another 30min before my car returned. Service didn't reset the maintenance alerts. Service did an inspection, however did not check the tire pressure on all 4 tire, only one and entered that tire pressure for all four (36psi). Recommend pressure should be 33 psi. Instrument panel pressure indicator showed 36, 34, 32, 33.

Took car in for LOF. They did it as promised, They exsplected it to take 45-60 minutes. They missecd that by about 40 minutes (took about an hour and 40 minutes), but got the job done and completed the promised inspection as well. Much better service than what I got from Schomp Subaru last time and would recommend them far above Shomp.

Every time my wife brings our Subaru Ascent in you manage to deliver the car to her with all the settings in a big mess: no speedometer, all apps useless, etc.--either disengaged or not operating properly. She is 78 years old and not capable of resetting all those items your service department has screwed up. Now she has to make another trip to your facility which is very inconvenient and should not have happened. You need to remedy this annoying disservice.

When I arrived to pick up my vehicle, there was 3 people at desks. One was on the computer, one was on his cell phone and another was just sitting. Not one of them greeted me, asked if I need assistance and they never stopped what they were doing as if I wasn't there. Someone came from outside to assist me. When my vehicle was delivered, it was not sanitized, the floor was not covered and he had no mask on until he opened the door for me. This has been the worst customer service I ever experienced at AutoNation Subaru. I hope this was an off day!!

Just purchased my first new car in 20+ years. A beautiful Subaru Forester to replace my 1999 Subaru Impreza. I had to stick with Subaru. Autonation worked with me online to answer questions and make an appointment to test drive. Their website is great for doing your research. The purchase went fairly smooth. I was a bit frustrated that the Forester I planned to purchase was unavailable due to an error in posting to website. It felt like a bait & switch. That aside, my salesperson was very kind, professional, and generous with her time. Autonation's pricing, inventory, and financing were key to choosing the dealership for my purchase. We had no doubt about choosing Subaru. Love the car! Only things I would have done differently: 1) Check with my insurance before agreeing to AutoNation's windshield replacement coverage since it wasn't necessary as I was already covered for both glass and recalibration and 2) Verify what the floor mat package add-on cost includes. Brochure says all-weather are standard. If so, I overpaid for a package if plain old floor mats. There was no cargo mat which I thought was included. AutoNation hasn't returned my call. That aside, I'd purchase from AutoNation again.

I was very pleased with my experience at AutoNation. I reserved a vehicle online and was immediately helped when I showed up to test drive it. The sales associates and finance team were very accommodating and respectful, and I didn't feel like I was being taken advantage of--unfortunately common for women at car dealers. The showroom and offices were very clean and all Covid-19 precautions were being strictly observed. My only complaint was that the car had not been fully cleaned/detailed when I showed up to test drive it, so I had to come back the next day once it had been detailed so I could get a good look at it and make a final decision about purchasing.

I purchased my 2017 Subaru Legacy from this dealership and every time I’ve brought my car in for maintenance I’ve had issues with their service. This last time I was in, I purchased and had them Mount, balance, and align four brand new tires. After I was called and assured my vehicle was done I picked up my car and took it home. I looked at the tires when I got home and noticed one tire was noticeable different than the other three. You could clearly see one tire said “inner side”. Service tech mounted it on the rim backwards and they gave it to me in that condition. The amount of negligence is upsetting when you put not only so much money, but trust in people working on your car and they don’t come through time after time. I can see this is a place to pump out customer after customer and car after car to continue bringing in the $$. Customer satisfaction and a job well done the first time goes a long way.

Took my 2020 Outback in for a recall of the computer system. Took car in Saturday morning and check was fine. Was quoted 45-60 minutes for completion. After 1.5 hours hadn't heard anything from my advisor so I went and tracked him down. He went and checked on the situation and said it was still hooked up to the computer. At the time I do not know if that was the truth or if my car had even been touched yet. He apologized for not keeping me in the loop which I appreciated but frustration had settled in . At this point the advisor did a good job of keeping me up to date on my car but it was another 1.5 hours before I left autonation. He did give me a free carwash voucher(10.99 value). He also said that I would be taken care of on my next visit. I do not know what that means. He also said that he would mail or email the paperwork to me so he could get me out of there but have yet to receive anything. The waiting area is nice with coffee and tea options and laptop charging area. The show about missing kids was depressing that was played on the tv was depressing but I don't know if the dealership has anything to do with that. This is my family's second visit to this service shop and have to say this is the second time I have been disappointed. There better be improvement otherwise my service dollars will be going some where else . For the recommend this dealer to a friend location my no answer is for the service center. Buying from this dealer was an easy transaction and overall a decent experience.

Notification indicated that the upgrade would take approximately 40 minutes. Upon arrival, I was informed that service would be approximately 1 hour. It took over 2 hours! Recall notifications should indicate what processes will occur and possible challenges in such upgrades. In addition, nothing on the returned work order indicated specifically what modifications were done.

Everything was smooth and easy from scheduling to leaving. Only negative thing worth mentioning was that I received an email from Subaru, not the AutoNation dealership, when I got home from my repair appointment advising me of another recall. When I called AutoNation to schedule another appointment I was told that the email, which was worded completely different with no way to tell there was not a difference, was the same exact recall that I just had repaired. Not very thoughtful of the company Subaru.

Been going to this service shop for a couple of years. More expensive for routine service than the local mechanic shop, but for Subaru specific stuff, they are excellent: Parts are ordered promptly, communication is equally prompt, and the work is invariably of high quality. The service advisors are knowledgeable, gracious, professional, and almost always proactive.

I have had a problem with my battery going dead. This did not happen for 2 years. Brought it to Groove Subaru and was told to start my car every day for 5 minutes. Called Svc Manager who was there on Saturday and he said I was not driving car enough miles to keep battery charged. Also was told it needed to run over an hour to charge. I came to Auto Nation and the service assured me they would find draining battery problem and did. Radio drain

I took my car in for diagnostics and had a repair done that also revealed a more serious issue that was fortunately covered under warranty. I was provided a courtesy car while the repair was being done. My service rep Jessica had taken such incredible consideration to communicating with me through the process with daily updates and status reports.

The car went in for a recall notice and i had them inspect the car for my college child. They came back with a slew of extraneous items that i can do on my own. The costs they came up with on over the top expensive. But the kicker was i said the TPMS guage would not shut off and the advisor said that guage was tricky and to inflate the tires to 38 lbs and that would fix it. Well have driving it home, that didnt do it so need to find the answer there but not at Subaru.

Purchased our car over a month ago, was overcharged on tax (out-of-state resident). Over $600, supposedly being sent to lien holder (only after several phone calls and e-mails). Still has not happened. This is not due to the lien holder. We were overcharged tax, it should be returned to us as an overcharge. 😕

I live about 305 miles from the dealership, so my situation was an online purchase and from the start, the process was smooth and my sales associate was very responsive to my questions/concerns. The price negotiation was seemless and we actually got more than we bargained for in the vehicle he found. Even when the keyfobs were lost on the car we were purchasing, he found a identical replacement for our car and there was no significant delay in the purchase. The car was everything we expected but since there were more accoutrements on the car, there was a learning curve for all the nuances the car provided; our sales associate was very patient and thorough. We were pre-approved for financing - there was none of the typical arm twisting that we'd experienced before through the finance office but the officer was very thorough in explaining the potential need for the coverages they offered.

Then after driving a few blocks, I realized I have a headlight out. They did a 5 point inspection on it. How do they miss a headlight? So I had to call and make another appt.

Unbelievable- they sold a car that I had reserved while my mobile inspector was waiting to inspect it. Came in on a Saturday, said we wanted it, had the inspector there the next Monday at 10:15am. They sold it as he waited. Like most car dealers, their word means nothing and they will do anything for a sale, regardless of customer service. Makes you wonder how well they take care of the vehicles they sell to the unwitting public.

Everything here is entirely satisfactory, it's easy to schedule, attention is prompt and estimates are efficient -- the only shortcoming is no complimentary car wash, in fact no carwash at all. Plenty of space to distance while waiting --employees all masked although I asked one or two to cover their noses. Best way to exit is in back with eventual access to a traffic light allowing a left turn onto Arapahoe.

However I was less than impressed with the service department. $165 for an oil change with numerous things added to my bill that I DID NOT ask for nor were either my husband or I asked if we wanted. I paid $128 at Mike Shaw Subaru for an oil change, tire rotation, and cabin air filter change in May. I will NEVER go back to this service department.

Had a nail in the sidewall of my tire and the car had the original tires. Josh had me come right in and the service technician and his manager both verified the tread depth determining that one new tire was acceptable. He had the tire in stock and I was on my way. This dealership was the worst to work with. I intended to buy a 2019 Subaru (in October of 2019) and my sales man said they had none left. He pushed me into a 2020 outback saying it was my only option. Then he sold me on extras and set a date to pick up the car with the extras on it. I drove through a snowstorm to pick it up, only to arrive and none of the extras were installed. Additionally, the pet gate I was sold on was not in fact a pet gate, but a cargo gate that even my Saint Bernard dog could walk past without a problem. Additionally, their service department are liars and spew misinformation. Their finance department also set me up with a bank which refused my payments for the majority of the year. I spent countless hours on the phone attempting to get them to take my money. I finally called Subaru finance department only to be told, sorry it’s not our problem anymore. My 98 Subaru Outback drives better than the 2020 Outback I got. I am glad I did not sell it. If you want a good Subaru get a used one from a private party, don’t bother with this new garbage they are putting out and don’t get sucked into the failure of a dealership they have going here.

And a week later, they installed new tires on my car In both cases the work was completed and my car was ready when promised At the first service, they provided me with cost estimates for three different tires. After a little more research, i decided on a Michelin tire and checked the cost at Costco. Autonation matched the Costco price. All the information the service advisor gave me was accurate, he texted me promptly with additional information i requested and he personally cleaned and disinfected my car when i picked it up Overall, a pleasant experience.

Came in for 24,000 mile servicing. Thought i might need air filter or cabin filter, as car is 5 years old. . When i picked up car, they said filters did not need to be replaced. The Arapahoe store is awesome. I?m just bummed though at the Roseville store that sorta fixed my ?problem? but didn?t. The problem still exists and it took the late night newbie employee from the third Subaru store visited to inform me that my model/year is known to burn oil-a lot of it at that. I love my car and all the help I?ve received from auto nation but this little fact exclusion has soured my experience just a bit. However, I would recommend the auto nation Arapahoe store to anyone!

I took my car to get the brakes checked, they tell me I have two active recalls that will get fixed for “free” ok cool. Then later I’m told the sparks plug recall IS NOT getting worked on because of the “mods” my car has...to me a recall is a recall. I was told by a tech at the Golden Subaru location that regardless it needs to be fixed and that at they’re location wouldn’t have said no because of my mods. It sucks that now I have to either drive further to get that recall repaired and even have to pay out of pocket for that sh**. Everything else was alright.

Stephanie Parker did a great job of making sure I was in and out for my oil change as quickly as possible. She was very efficient and friendly. I would recommend this location to anyone. Lot's of space to wait as well. 5 stars for sure.

This is the 4th Outback I've leased in 12 years from Subaru Arapahoe .. keep thinking "this will be the one I buy" but the new models just keep getting better! Maybe this will be the one. I feel completely safe driving the Outback in Colorado's crazy weather. I highly recommend the 2020 Outback, has amazing features.

My wife and I purchased an Outback from this dealer a few years ago and that was ok. But our experience with the service department has been anything but that. Yesterday I went in for an oil change, was told it would take one hour but in fact it took four hours! Also, the service rep tried to sell me on a 60K service package that contained several items recommended by Subaru at a 100K service! Incredibly dishonest. What I find really troubling is that the service managers are rude and disrespectful. We won't be returning to this dealer for service.

I visited for my 6K mile oil change after purchasing my Legacy from Subaru AutoNation last December. The facilities are immaculately clean. The waiting area has comfortable chairs, easy access to wifi and complimentary coffee. I was a bit surprised when they told me it would be 90 minutes before the routine maintenance on my car would be finished but I was in and out in less than an hour. So under promise and over deliver, it's all good. Friendly staff!

Your customer service is horrendous!!! Poor communications with customers!!! Go Elsewhere!!! When I purchased the car, I had prescheduled the first oil change. So, I had an appointment set up. I brought the car in, and Josh was the Service tech that took care of me. He told me it would take about an hour to have the service done on my car (oil change). I told him that I would wait, and Josh walked me into the waiting area. Now this is my bad! 15 minutes into my wait, I received a call from an unknown number. I receive a lot of calls from solicitors, so I did not answer it. Unfortunately, it was Josh, and I did not get a notification for the voicemail until 4:30 pm. Bad cell service! Two hours into my wait, I went looking for Josh. What is going on with my car, I asked Josh. Josh said he would go in back and check. He returned and apologized that there was a back up on the lifts. Then, he said that he called and left a voice mail earlier (My bad above). The issue was that, Josh had thought that I prepaid for car service when I purchased the car, and that was not true. My issue, is I was sitting 30 feet behind Josh. He could have walked the 30 feet in to the waiting room and addressed the issue in person! Great customer service!!! Hug!!! I had a meeting I needed to attend, so I could stay there another hour to wait to get an oil change. I was very upset! When I got home, I called the dealership and talked to the manager (Justin). He set me up with an appointment the following day and said that he would like to meet with me. I arrived and Josh told me it would take about 45 minutes and directed me to the waiting room. 1.5 hours into my wait I went searching for Josh. Again, he told me he would go in back to see what was going on. He returned, and told me that I needed additional repairs. I told him that I would reschedule for those additional repairs (brakes). Josh said, he would have them bring the car up front. 20 minutes go by and still no car. I find Josh again, and he tells me that they have not put the oil in yet. Frustrated!!! The manager, Justin, who said wanted to meet and talk, never showed his face. Very POOR Customer Service!!! Go some where else!!!!

So having bought a new 2020 outback form this dealer. I brought it for its first oil change and tire rotation . I had an Appt for 8:00 am Monday Aug 24 and was there a lil early. I was told it would take and around 90 minutes. Ok there was a line so no problem. Well it took over 2 1/2 hours and I was told my tires didn't need rotation WTF? Since when do tires not need rotation every 5-6k miles. But I will say in defense of the service manager he did not charge me the oil change. Also of note I did not get a receipt of any kind so now I have to return to dealer and get it since I feel it may affect any warranty issues.

These people will rip you off. A broken bracket on my sunroof was quoted at $2142.60. I said no way and the charged me $190.00 because I elected not to proceed with the repair. Turns out they did not quote the broken bracket the the entire assembly, frame, glass, seals, motor, wiring harness, all of which was fine. Ripoff artists.

They took the car very quickly. I actually had to chase after the lady to find out how long the work would take. They provided no option for transportation back to work (like 1.5 miles away). Then they left a message saying the car was complete. I arrived at the service center and it took 45 minutes to get the car. Pulling away the car had a rattle when turning left. Frustrated with this dealership I took the car to another Subaru service center who pointed out a loose part that was not re-secured, they secured the piece and I was on my way.

Bought a new 2020 Forester Sport, within 5 months the moon roof stops working (used it twice) and the 'start-stop' feature shuts off all power to the entire car and is unable to start without a jump (occurs ~1/month). They "can't replicate it" so they say there is nothing they can do. Car has been in service for close to two months within the first 6 months of me owning it. Service has made me drop off the car 3 times because they initially think the moon-roof parts have come in when on second look they didn't (thanks Zach, yikes), disorganized would be a compliment. Loved the car (great headroom), I understand the mechanical faults with the car is not a dealer issue, however the service shortcomings and the initial paperwork mishaps with the bank show you are better off going elsewhere. They benefit greatly from their location, don't misinterpret this for them being good at their job. No other choice but trading it in to a different dealer and washing my hands of the entire dealership/car/experience.

Terrible customer service. She ask what time my car needed to be done, and I told them 3pm. (I dropped it off at my 9am appointment time). It should have taken 1-2 hours max for what ended up being a warranty issue. I was the one that called them at 3:30pm ask what the status was on my car since I hadn’t heard anything. They were still working on it! What were they working on? No clue since no one informed me. I’d rather drive to Boulder to get better customer service.

My wife arrived on time for her oil change appointment. She was there for 2 hours. That is not right. it doesn't take 2 hours to do an oil change. After 2 hours she got her car back only to realize the oil change reminder had not been reset in the car. She had to read the manual to figure out how to reset it herself. The oil change cost $54. For that price, the service should have been great. it was not.

AutoNation Subaru Araphoe is the closest Subaru dealer to my home so I usually go there for servicing needs. Because of the COVID-19 pandemic I had not had my Forester services in many months, but also had done very little driving since then. In addition I had three recalls to be addressed. As far as I can tell, the servicing was done correctly. My one complaint is that I ask to have new windshield wipers installed and that was not done. There has obviously been a lot of turnover at this dealership, which is disappointing.

I highly recommend Autonation Subaru Arapahoe. Recently the engine of my 2020 Subaru seized up after my oil plug fell out. The GM Matt Smith helped me through the entire process with the insurance company from the other shop who had messed up when changing the oil at 6000 miles on my new car. He took care of all my needs and set me up with Stephanie who did a fantastic job following the whole process through. Customer service was great from start to finish. I visited them to look at different Subaru's and a few hours later was the proud owner of a beautiful (slightly) used Forester. Dylan Vance was extremely helpful and patient while I figured out what I wanted. Since he had personal experience with the cars I was interested in, he was able to answer all my questions and give sound advice. The rest of the staff was great too, friendly and attentive. I do wish the paperwork didn't take so long, but it just comes with the territory of buying a car, no matter where you go.

AutoNation Subaru Arapahoe must accept to service recall notices on a Subaru even if the customer is not a current customer. It sounded like I was screened and hung up on twice as I was trying to set up an appointment for a Subaru recall service. I thought refusing a recall service is illegal or against Subaru of America policy!!! I am still waiting for a call back from the service manager. I am not holding my breath over this. I already scheduled something with another dealership that has a better reputation. I would not recommend this dealership for service or sales based on my very limited experience.

When I went to pick up the car, the invoice was over $200 more and included a $59.99 charged marked 'MISC.' He give me the run around and I never did understand what the extra charges were for ... So no I would not recommend

I am not a fan of their policy regarding persons trying to buy a vehicle but they are putting a lot more presure on other dealers by being this way and in this "Dog-eat -dog" world where the $$ is more important than personal relationships they are going for what speaks loudest and that is the all mighty dollar. I am a victim of this and I went along with it although I would rather see it diferently I am also affected by the value of the dollar.

Got every oil change there done my front brakes there . So on Friday I felt very disrespected the woman I dealt with treated me like I was stupid she kept going back and forth in and out of managers office very confused . I felt comfortable having my car serviced during the pandemic because sanitizing was promised. When I arrived signage said masks required. Upon entering the service area building, I found 3-4 employees with their masks off working a few stations from where I was asked to go, less than 6 feet away. I felt disrespected. Don't come to this Arapahoe location (colorado). It took forever to get the transaction completed even though I knew exactly what I got and agreed the price over the phone. In addition, the guy did not even know my car does not include the homelink buttons for garage openers. I just discovered that when I got home. Once you signed the paperwork, they don't care about anything else after that. Very bad customer services. I will never come back to this location/AutoNation.

I normally go to the Golden Subaru Dealership and was surprised to get my car back from this Arapahoe Location after bringing it in for a recall to find all my things that were in the console tossed in the back seat, the windshield wiper fluid top was left open, and the worst thing is that they claimed my tires could not be rotated due to a locking nut on each tire. This turned out to be false; I do not have any locking nuts on the tires as verified by Les Schuabb. Be careful if you decide to use this service department.

I bought a 2020 Outback plus four warranties after the salesman and finance manager ensured me “the warranties are refundable”. One of their selling points was their statement that the computers that Subaru puts in their cars should not be trusted. After coming to my senses and requesting refunds I was told that only two or the four warranties are refundable. Since the salesman and the finance manager do not deny these points, it is clear AutoNation condones the behavior of providing half-truths and denigrating the computers that Subaru uses in their cars.

While my service provider, Jason DeMars, Wore a face mask the entire time (which is now required for essential workers), some of the other staff did not. Some even wore a mask dangling around their chin. The service on my car was necessary, and I wore a mask to protect myself and others. I would expect all of you staff to do the same. Jason was very clear that he didn?t want to complete service on my car until after I drove it for another 1,200 miles, to see if there was a leak. This potentially saved me $$ and I greatly appreciate that. Jason?s decision contributed to my overall trust of your shop, and is one of the reasons I will return.

Went to check out a Honda CRV with low mileage, turns out it had extensive hail damage not mentioned. I was OK with this but would have liked to have known about it before driving all the way down to that dealership. The car was delivered to my house after I paid for it, which was great. The interior was supposed to be cleaned and the car detailed. The interior looked like a quick vacuum was done and nothing else. My wife and daughter went and cleaned the interior which was basically filthy. I will take car to a Honda dealer and have it inspected and fluids checked, because some fluids like power steering was low after their safety inspection.

The facilities are clean, comfortable but the sound from the TV is more than annoying. t is way too loud and clashes with the music (which is nice) on the intercom. I bought a 2017 Subaru Forrester new here and had a great experience. I have returned since then for routine maintenance and it has always gone well. Yesterday I got a nail in the sidewall of my tire and Gabriel, the assistant service manager, got me in quickly, fixed the tire under my extended warranty and got me back out on the road in the time they had promised I have dealt with lots of auto repair in my day and this is by far the best.

I usually don't write reviews for services, because whether it was a good or bad experience, I usually just move on with my life. I've decided to make time for Subaru Autonation because this is one of those situations where I just need to vent my anger and general disbelief at the quality of service that has been provided. In short, its been just the worst experience one could imagine. I've been bringing my Impreza to this dealership to fix residual damages from a large accident that happened a few years ago. The main problem is that the traction control doesn't work no matter what they replace or fix, and they've replaced just about everything at this point. Repeatedly, I've had my vehicle returned to me with assurances that it has been fixed and repeatedly I have had to bring it back to have the same problems looked at. The staff that I've interacted with were dismissive and could have cared less what my problems were with the new vehicle that I had purchased from them. I have lost count of how many times I have had to bring my vehicle back. On one such occasion, when both my front tires exploded two days apart from one another from obvious camber and alignment problems, (problems that resulted from shoddy repair work) I was condescendingly told that problems with the camber couldn't possibly lead to tires popping. "Maybe they just both popped coincidentally", I was literally told this unironically. The customer service here has been laughable, no such service is really provided. Well, that is not entirely fair because I've only had dealings with two advisors, Jason and Gabriel. Gabriel has been incredibly helpful and informative. He has been the only person to show actual concern for my situation and he is not even my advisor! Jason is my advisor. He has been completely negligent, absent and the complete opposite of helpful. None of my calls ever get through to him, whether I call his cell or the dealership itself. More than once I've called the dealership, been put on hold for god knows how long and then been hung up on. You have to call him multiple times and leave multiple voicemails for him to maybe deign to call you back. Dude's always on lunch apparently regardless if it's 9 in the morning or 6 in the evening. One must literally drive to the dealership and physically be there to talk to someone about your car. It is clear as day he doesn't even remotely care about his clients or his job. I haven't seen my car in MONTHS. Part of the reason for this is because whoever was responsible for checking that my car was being worked on quit during the repair process and after she was gone, no one else was given the file for my vehicle. So my car literally sat in their lot for the better part of a month with no one even questioning why there was a random car just sitting there. It's ridiculous enough that I'm actually laughing out loud a little right now, a car can literally just sit in the garage of this dealership and no one cares enough to maybe find out what the deal is with it. I hear the general manager of the place was helpful to my father when he went to the dealership so I guess that's alright, usually, phone calls should suffice. So, to sum up, this whole experience has been like having my spirit crushed by a slow-moving glacier of incompetence and negligence. I could continue but it would be redundant. Avoid this place if your car needs repairs performed that go beyond an oil change.

I had to get my car serviced due to some recalls and there were some inconveniences that could have possibly tripped up other customers (I had an appointment moved to another date because Subaru was back ordered on replacement products... and then the dealer needed to hold my car overnight due to the time it would take to complete the repairs), but communication with them (Stephanie in particular) was top notch. They gave notice to the appointment change weeks in advance and called well before I was scheduled to pick up the car to confirm that it would be okay that they held it overnight. They explained why they needed more time and were prompt with the follow-up calls they said they would make.

Let's start with the initial call. No one answered for several minutes (like 6 minutes). The process to schedule was easy enough once I finally got through to a human. Apparently they don't like providing transportation and make getting a ride virtually impossible. They called for me to pick up the vehicle late in the day and said it was too late for me to get a ride from their shuttle. Once I picked the car up they showed a courtesy inspection of items needing repair. Why don't they call you during the day and ask you if you are okay with them repairing the car? Weird. Lastly, I figured out a couple of days later they broke the passenger seat switch pushing the seat as far back as possible to complete the airbag recall. By breaking the switch, the seat motor remained on until it completely drained the battery. Why would I ever return here for service?

No one wants to feel like they have been ripped off. That was the feeling I left with at the Auto Nation Service Department. I brought my car in for recall on springs and tail lights. I was offered a oil filter for $5 which I agreed. My car was fine before I brought it in. The next day after the repairs I was having problems with my car. I called auto nation who did the recall. Immediately I was told the if wasn?t due to the recall and I didn?t repair it with them I would be charged $189 for diagnosis. The oil solenoid need to be replaced, which they claim had nothing to do with recall or oil filter. $750 later my car was running like it was before the recall. As part of process of putting in a new oil solenoid Auto Nation Service put in another oil filter. The charge for the second oil filter $10.

The tire pressure indicator light had come on, then we received a msg on the display that our Crosstrek needed to be seen by a technician. It was a Saturday, and when we arrived with no appointment the technician stated they were very busy with repair appointments but would work us in. A nail was found in one of the tires and if the technician didn't know an answer to our question, he found someone who did. The tire was patched within an hour at no charge. Excellent customer service from beginning to end of the appointment. Reinforced why we went to this dealership to purchase our Crosstrek.

My husband and I came to AutoNation to get a new car. We loved the salesman we worked with, Mike Olenski. He did a great job educating us and was low pressure on the purchase. That was where the good experience ended. It took several hours between wrapping up with Mike and starting with the finance team. Bob Baker could not make "the system" match the original quote we received and ultimately we ended up paying a higher price. Two weeks after we finalized the sale and left with the car, we received a survey request. I completed the survey with good marks for Mike and okay marks for Bob. Two weeks later, the dealership contacted us to say they miscalculated the sales tax due to the website they use not being updated for our city. The end result was that we owed over $1,000 more. After talking to other customers in our same city, it turns out this dealership has been using the wrong sales tax for over a year. When we discussed this issue with the sales manager, Matt Smith, we were told that there's nothing they can do and we just have to pay it. Shortly after that we got a call from Bob telling us that if we don't pay it, we won't be able to register our car. Ultimately, this was a good experience turned bad and I would not recommend AutoNation Subaru to anyone interested in purchasing a car from a dealership that cares about their customers. I would've considered it an honest mistake if I hadn't heard that this has been going on for over a year. If they truly cared about the customer experience, they would do their due diligence to ensure that the final price paid by their customers matches the quote they provide at the beginning of the process.

I bought my first Legacy in 2012 and I was so pleased with my experience. Now that I'm ready for a Forester, I assumed I would have the same experience coming back. I couldn't have been more wrong. Firstly, when I expressed disappointment in the value of my trade, I received zero response back after that. I decide to move past and continue to apply. All I asked was a break down of the trade, cost, monthly payment and the Sales Rep Daniel Ballez flat out REFUSED to send it to me. I expressed that it was Halloween, I work full time and have 3 kids. He kept insisting that it's too much to send in an email and I needed to call him. I think he just didn't want to put anything in writing. His inability to put my convenience before his wants just cost this dealership my business. And future as well. I was a returning customer and his attitude is not what Autonation has represented in the past.

Bought a “certified pre-owned” 2017 forester. I drove it three times that week, then every warning light came on. I dropped it off for service, and was told someone would call me later that day. No call. The next day attempted calling, no call back. On Monday, called at least 5 times each time being transferred several times from person to person with no info “we’ll call you back”. At one point a service tech told me it was all clear for pick up, transferred me to the pick up person, who then told me it hadn’t even been looked at yet and they would call me back in a few hours, they never did, so I called AGAIN and was then told I was being transferred to a technician, but ended on hold 40 minutes. I hung up and called again and someone else told me someone would call me back. Finally someone called me back and told me it needed a new transmission and it would take a week. Apparently they don’t really do all those checks on certified cars, as I had driven it less than 50miles. I asked about a loaner car, and initially was told there were none available, but they’d call back. Not trusting them, we went to the dealership and ended up waiting 2 hours for them to figure something out. The whole process took from 8 am to 7 pm. I felt the whole time I was been transferred and passed off with no one caring or looking in to the situation. I completely regret purchasing my car through AutoNation Subaru and feel as though I was swindled.

AutoNation could start improving by either actually checking their used cars OR being competent enough that if they are actually checking them, they actually find the things wrong with them. In less than a month, the car had over $3,000 worth of problems. Probably closer to $4,000. This is on a car that was approximately $8,000, and nothing was disclosed as a problem on their 125 point checklist. I guess that should have raised my suspicions since how can a used car be in such great shape, but I guess I just figured they actually serviced it to ensure it was safe. It wasn’t. Buyers beware.

My Forester was in for regular service and to address a recall issue involving the switch for the brake lights , where the brake lights were not functioning The regular service was somewhat extensive . The recall was straight forward in that it only required a swap of a faulty switch . The regular service was completed and the brake light switch was swapped. Somehow, the service department allowed the vehicle to leave w/p checking the recall work perfumed on the brake lights.. The brake lights do Nott work and now the tail lights also not work. I had a reasonable expectation that the recall would be addressed properly. My mistake was that I did not double check the work while I was still at the service department.

I had to bring my car in for a recall no big deal this stuff happens. When I scheduled the appointment on the phone it was over a month before they could get me in; they only have one tech who does all the recalls. I did have to reschedule my appointment for work and when I did I was able to get the next week which was nice but when I scheduled the new appointment they said it would take all day. The all-day wasn't a problem I just made my adjustments with work but when I got to the place they told me it would only take 2 hours. If I knew that I would have made different plans with my work and I couldn't wait the two hours because I already had plans. The service manager I was dealing with didn't even seem to be sorry that I was misinformed. So I was going to take the shuttle home so I could get home to do the work commitment I had. Whoever is the lady who runs the shuttle schedule desk was not friendly and rudely told me the shuttle guy wouldn't be back till 10:30. I was there a little before 9am and if I would have waited my car would have been done. If I was told the real-time when I made the appointment I wouldn't have had an issue with waiting but I made a business meeting because I thought they would have my car all day. So I had to take a lyft so I was able to do my work meeting and then get a friend to take me back to pick up my car. I love my car but whenever I have to deal with the service department I'm always disappointed. Subaru is a great car but I would get it at a different place.

Generally good experience with sales representative and finance, though it was pretty clear paying for the vehicle was more about upselling stuff (service, warranty extensions, etc.) than about just taking my money for the purchase. And it was clearly orchestrated. Nick must have said 25 times that the extended warranty "covers all 72 (or whatever number) of computers in the car" in a clear attempt to scare me into purchasing it. Not made so clear are matters like titling, licensing, and so forth. Trade in offer was ridiculous, and I ended up selling my replaced car for 4X what AutoNation offered. But with all that said, inventory browsing, test driving and other parts of the sales experience was much better than I anticipated, and sales person's (Scott Call) after purchase responsiveness has been impressive and greatly appreciated.

I was super excited to buy my dream car a Subaru wrx but not happy with the customer service. really did enjoy the customer service at first in the beginning but I actually won’t recommended this dealership. After taking my new car home. Witch everything should had been good to go. I tried to call my guy that was supposedly helping “elia” witch I never got a call back after I left many voice mails. I still had to go back to get the car oil change service when I was trying to approach Elia he walked away like if he didn’t notice me and waste my gas. Once again had to go because of my Stereo benign broken and not working right. Waiting over 4 hours for the service department to just tell that me stereo is broken and need to order a new one. I was very unhappy that I had to wait 4 hours for such a small problem. Bad customer experience. Finally my buddy Frankie jump in and did a great customer experience.

I had an absolute nightmare experience when buying a used car at AutoNation Subaru Arapahoe. I traded in a car to purchase a used "AutoNation certified" car, and the car started smoking out the tail pipe two days later. I brought the car back the next day (3 days after purchase). The service manager and sales manager said that they would be able to file a claim under the "AutoNation certified" warranty and get it repaired. The service manager called back and said the car was still smoking after trying some things in the shop. He said he was confident that they would be able to fix it under the "AutoNation certified" warranty. One week after bringing the car back, I received a call from the salesman that sold me the car stating that they are going to refund my money and take the car back. Unfortunately the salesman had no explanation and asked me to bring their loaner car back as soon as possible. Shame on you AutoNation for making the salesman make that call with no information or explanation for me. Upon returning the loaner car, a sales manager explained to me that they believed the car had a problem before the car was sold and therefore considered a preexisting condition and they should have never sold it to me. The "certified" warranty was not going to apply. If there is any claim for a "certified" warranty, it seems like AutoNation is going to try any way possible to not cover any repair costs. In addition to selling me a lemon and then taking it back, the sales manager showed little to no sympathy realizing that now my family only had one car since they took my trade in and both my wife and I need cars to work. Now I needed to scramble to apply for another auto loan and find a different car. I bought a car from a different and much better dealership, but it is 2 and a half weeks later and AutoNation is still yet to pay off the original loan for the lemon car they took back. If they do not pay off the loan soon, I am going to be making a payment for a car that I do not even own! I do not think AutoNation Subaru Arapahoe understands the hardships they placed on my family and made little to no effort to correct their mistakes. I still have a loan balance for a car they took back 2.5 weeks ago!! Plus, if you place a "AutoNation certification" on a car, you should honor it and not find a way out.

How can this dealership improve you ask... from my experience yesterday... 1. Don't overcharge and if accidental, the "cashier" should catch it. If the cashier doesn't catch it and customer does, double check to see if customer is right before saying "thats not a $179 overcharge". I had to ask for manger, who confirmed that was an overcharge, and luckily the cashier caught it as she is supposed to. OOPS! She didn't, I did. The overcharge was for 2 diagnostic charges of 179.99 instead of one. 2. Return phone calls sooner than 2 1/2 hours later and call the right number! When the service adviser calls to "update" me at 2pm and asks for a call back, it would be nice to understand why... do I need to make a decision, am I just being notified that its done or the ETA etc. I called back 5 min after the call, again an hour later and again 20 min after that leaving messages each time. Finally got a call back @ 4:30. I was asked to make a couple decisions which obviously delayed the time it would be finished. 3. Ensure Service Adviser goes over all charges and notes with customer prior to leaving (or explain it to someone that can provide customer with a good explanation of work and charges). My SA left and handed off to a helper that was unfamiliar with what was to be done and fumbled through reading off the work order what was done and tried to decipher mechanics notes before handing that off to someone else. 4. Have mechanics leave legible notes as to what was done. Had to have 3 people at this dealership try to translate his notes, finally a manager took time to decipher them for me. 5. Have mechanics test drive car if needed. This is the second time I've been to this dealership (convenient to work location) asked for a rattle in the back hatch to be looked at. I hear it all day every day with any bump on the road, however they can't seem to duplicate the noise. That tells me they didn't want to spend the time to really check it. Just put it through a couple bumps and they would have heard it, guaranteed...maybe lazy, maybe no money in it for the time it would take to find and fix the noise? Either way, another blemish. 6. Ensure Keys are left with each car in the same place. Employee could not find the car keys and had to have someone look for them, just embarrassing for them and another reason to believe processes are lacking or not being followed. 7. Ensure that all keys are attached to key ring they had to take them off for whatever reason. I got home to find out my work keys were not attached to the key ring. Found them slid under the seat....really??? 8. The one good thing to say is that there were a lot of employees (assuming to provide good customer service?) and they all had smiles on their faces as they stood around telling stories and presumably killing time until their shift was over. I have to assume that no one is held accountable for anything over there or there would be less standing around and more attention being paid to detail and the customer experience.

I was extremely disappointed by the lack of service when I went to pick up my WRX from a service for two recalls. I'd left the car there most of the day and when I went to pick it up I had to ask the people standing in the bay where you drop the car for service where I could get my car back. They pointed to the row of service advisors inside the door. There were no other customers talking to any of them. All of them were either on the phone or looking down at paperwork. I had to ask repeatedly if someone would help me. Finally someone got my paperwork and put it at the desk of a service advisor who wasn't there. I tried to be patient but they left me standing there for ten minutes. That advisor never came back, who knows how long they would have left me there without helping me if I didn't speak up? As it was a covered service there was no bill, all someone had to do was hand me my receipt and go get my car. This is the kind of business that gives lip service to customer service, but there was none! A total lack of caring about the only customer actually standing right in front of them!

I went in for a Subaru recall I wasn't sure how long it would take them, and I was pressing for time. They got me in, and out within 15 minutes. I was very pleased that I did not have to wait, and it was done in no time.

Left car here for a few days to investigate a mystery sound that has been occurring at randomly at highway speeds for the last few months. They were unable to determine the cause of the sound and despite being kept under a tent during its time here, my car now had hail damage that it did not have before I brought it in. After talking to them on the phone and in person, I’m out of luck and have to cover the damage through my insurance. I can’t recommend leaving a car here overnight for service.

We brought in our 2011 Subaru Outback for an airbag recall and were informed we had come in a day early. The underwriter was nonplussed as he said he would take care of us anyway and they did so, delivering the car back to us earlier than promised. Good job!

This is my 3rd Forester purchase, we went thru the Costco Auto plan and they directed us to Auto Nation on Arapahoe Road. I went there first and met w/ Dylan Vance (he had called me first). we looked at a couple of Used vehicles, and decided we would purchase a New vehicle. I returned in 10 days and purchased a 2019 Forester on May 11th.
